We are now offering OEM services making precision CNC machined G10/Micarta/Carbon fiber handles for your fixed blades!

Just about anything you have seen us do on our production knives or customs, we can do for you as well. All made here in the USA.

Here is how this works.

1. Email us through the contact us page, or at Hobackinc@outlook.com and Provide the following: 

·         Solid models, in SolidWorks/IGES/STEP format

·         Blueprint with required tolerances (if you do not know how to make a blueprint let us know) remember that the tighter the tolerance the more expensive the final product will be. Typically, we will run fixed blade handles at +-.005 overall

·         Material needed. We are currently only offering handles in G10/Micarta/Carbon fiber, if you have a special material you would like to use please let us know and we will try to accommodate.

·         Total number of parts needed (keep in mind we run 5-10 extra to account for scrap or mistakes. You will be required to purchase any extra parts that are not scrap if we manage to not scrap any parts)

2.      Minimum order:

The minimum order is 25 sets of handles.

3.      Lead times:

Lead time varies from project to project and time of the year.

As an example, 25 sets of Black g10 handles can be machined and shipped within 8-12 weeks. That may seem like a lot of time, but that includes time interacting with you to make sure we get your information and requirements correct, ordering material and waiting for it to ship to us, quality control, packaging, and shipping.

4.      Pricing:

·         Depends on several factors

·         Parts precision required

·         Material machinability

·         Material price

·         Machine time

·         Level of complication of overall project.

As and example: A simple, black g10, single operation (one sided) handle set with 2 holes/counterbores, and a .06 45deg chamfer around the profile would be $25 for a set

5.      Payment:

Payment in full before any work commences. A quote will be provided that is good for 5 days of receipt
